This leading consultancy has been delivering energy and carbon management solutions for clients for a number of years. They are currently involved in delivering policy and strategic advice to clients on a broad range of sustainability issues in the private and public sectors. A vacancy has arisen for an experienced consultant to lead carbon management projects in large organisations in both industry and commerce. You would be working closely with a committed team of other consultants and report directly to a Director. They offer a competitive salary with a company car, private health insurance and the advantages of a home-based appointment (with secretarial support from one of our regional offices). This post requires regular visits to all parts of the UK. Qualities and Qualifications They are seeking an experienced consultant with a degree in an Energy, Environmental or Engineering discipline with a good track record of delivering quality solutions in a consultancy environment. He/she will have a good understanding of key current energy, carbon and environmental issues. The successful candidate will have the following profile: • Demonstrable track record in energy policy, strategy and carbon management solutions. • Accredited consultant with The Carbon Trust. • Commercial awareness and proposal writing skills. • Ability to write concise, insightful reports to tight deadlines. • Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in delivering presentations. • Ability to quickly build rapport with clients. • Co-operative attitude and constructive team building skills.
