My Health Sector client based in Exeter are looking for a number of developers. ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, Javascript, C#, SQL Server, T-SQL, OO Design, AJAX, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, OLAP, ETL, IG Tool-kit. This will be a 3 month contract role starting immediately.

Development targets include:


1.The creation of robust web pages using required Development Standards to meet the business requirements of customers.
2.The modification/maintenance of existing web pages to fix any problems or modify in line with business requirements.
3.The creation of logical and physical database models to support business requirements.
4.The development of appropriate designs for the business layer of the solution in order to meet existing standards and business requirements.
5.The creation of T-SQL based stored procedures in order to satisfy business requirements.
6.The creation of ETL packages, OLAP Data Cubes and Reports using the appropriate SQL Server tools, to meet the requirements of customers.
7.The modification and maintenance of existing packages etc. to meet changing requirements.
8.The production of appropriate design and support documentation for new developments and future reference.
9.The provision of a structured handover of development and documentation assets to permanent team members, during and at the end of the engagement.
10.The utilisation of appropriate configuration management tools to ensure the environment configuration is not compromised.

Key Skills include:

1.Able to understand and analyse complex user requirements to produce appropriate designs to satisfy the requirements.
2.Able to create and implement complex and robust technical solutions which meet the appropriate requirements and are scaleable and manageable.
3.Able to communicate effectively with a range of team members and customers with varying levels of technical knowledge.
4.Web development. Competent and proficient in use of the following tools and programming languages to allow unambiguous translation of specified functionality into a robust web application solution.
i. HTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
ii. ASP.Net 2.0
iii. C#
iv. Visual Studio (preferably 2005)
v. Javascript
vi. SQL Server 2005
vii. T-SQL
viii. AJAX
ix. OO Design

Desirable
1. Use of version control tools (preferably Visual Source Safe)
2. XML
3. Design Patterns
4. Agile Development Methodologies
5. Automated Unit Testing within an ASP.NET Framework (e.g. nUnit)
6. Microsoft Business Intelligence Studio (BIDS) incorporates SSIS, SAAS and SSRS.
7. Visual Studio Team System
