I am seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for our Kent Based Client! 28-32 K

You should be at a recognized certified level of competence for the IBM AIX server operating system (Either holding the appropriate qualification or very close to achieving this).

Relevant experience in all of the following areas;
* IBM P Series Server Hardware
* IBM Network Installation Manager Configuration
* IBM Virtual I/O Server Builds
* IBM High Availability Cluster Multi-Processing Builds
* IBM SAN Storage Connectivity
* IBM Tivoli Monitoring Agent Configuration
* IBM Tivoli Storage Management Agent Configuration

Desired Experience/Skills

Good awareness of existing and emerging technologies in the IT market place including one or more of the following;

- Rack/Blade Servers (IBM/SUN)
- Enterprise SAN & Backup (IBM/HDS)
- Network/Firewall (Architecture)
- Virtualisation & Clustering (O/S)
* Proven technical hands-on skills in building & supporting AIX servers in a Managed and/or Enterprise environment for a minimum of 5 years.
* Good awareness of ITIL processes and/or attendance/certification to Foundation level.
* Good awareness of formal Project Management processes and methodology.
