Technical Director / Head of IT required for a Leicester based company. As a result of restructuring they have created a new position for a Technical Director from a software background, to provide technical guidance and drive the company forward. This is a key role in the company as you will be responsible for defining and implementing the technical strategy, planning and managing the budgets and costs, whilst also managing a team of 9 direct reports, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. The successful candidate must have previous experience of managing software and web development projects as they need direction on which development technologies they need to be using to be competitive within their niche industry sector. It is essential you have excellent Project Management experience and Strong communication skills, liaising with Senior Management.
